Step Description
4. Familiarize yourself with the server features,
controls, and LEDs required for installation.
5. Review the input power information, assemble the
required tools, and take ESD and safety precautions.
6. Install any optional component into the server.
7. Install the server into either a 4-post or 2-post rack.
8. Attach data and management cables to the server.
9. Connect the power cords to the server, configure the
ILOM service processor, power on the server for the
first time, and boot the operating system.
