In the case of Hiperface encoders, the sense line (settings "5-intern, Sense" or "6-Via
X410A, sense") is typically not used, as it is not defined in the Hiperface standard Speci-
fication. Thus, using the sense line is not required in the case of Hiperface encoders.
Note:
The maximum voltage of the power supply is DC 12 V. Via a sense line, the voltage can
be monitored at the encoder, but the voltage output is limited to DC 12 V.
The voltage level can be set up via parameter 1187 . See chapter 8.4.4
