CLI: Listing Events

Log Command

The log command displays log events, including those from previous boot
cycles. You can use the command with different options to refine the output.
Syntax: log [-a | -r | -m | -p | -i | -d | substring ...]
Displays log events.
-a
Displays all log events, including those from previous boot
cycles.
-r
Displays log events in reverse order (most recent first).
-d, -i, -w, -p, -m
Restricts output to events of equal or higher severity. Only
one option may be specified.
From lowest to highest severity:
-d: debug
-i: informative
-w: warning
-p: performance
-m: major
The -a, -r, and substring options may be used in
combination with one of the above.
substring
Displays those events that match the specified string.
Log Messages on Management Modules. Log messages from a formerly
active management module are available on the current active management
module after a failover.
