1.4.2 Configuring an Access-Port-Based VLAN

There are two ways to configure Access-port-based VLAN: one way is to configure in
VLAN view, the other way is to configure in Ethernet port view/port group view.
Follow these steps to configure an Access-port-based VLAN in VLAN view:
Enter system view
Enter VLAN view
Inbound packets handling
Untagged
packets
Tag each
packet with the
default VLAN
tag.
Check whether
the default
VLAN ID is
permitted to
pass through
the port:
If yes, tag
each packet
with
the
default
VLAN tag
If not, drop
the packets.

Receive
packets
with
default VLAN tag.
Drop the packet if
the VLAN ID is not
the default VLAN
ID.
Receive a packet if
its
VLAN
ID
permitted to pass
through the port.

through the port.
