Confidence Tests
If your keyboard, mouse, monitor, or audio subsystem, or one of the SCSI peripherals
(excluding hard disks) isn't working properly, use the confidence tests to verify that each
device is working. You must operate under the IRIX operating system to run these tests.
To run the confidence tests, follow these steps:
1. From the System toolchest, choose "Run Confidence Tests." You see the Confidence
Tests form, as shown in Figure 6-4.

tape drive

1/4" tape drive

Digital Audio Tape Drive (DAT)
