Possible measures
Check function of power-pack
Check EPROM and correct if
necessary.
Change CPU
Test communication by RS232.
Change EEPROM if necessary
and change CPU.
Identify cause by disconnecting
individual consumers.
Interrupt communication
Disconnect membrane key-pad
connecting plug/jack and test
program start by external button;
change membrane key-pad. Test
the button;
change membrane key-pad
Connect the connector correctly.
