using pH paper

Carrying out:
Tear off short strips of pH indicator paper
· dip the pH indicator paper into the remaining fluid on the washed items
· analysis based on the provided color scale
pH value: 1 - <7 = acid; 7 = neutral; >7 - 14 = alkaline
Note:
· detergent disperses under running water
· with detergent containing chlorine = chlorine odor
