returned to the DVD FORMAT menu. Note an asterisk mark will be displayed by DVD until
format is complete.

Once format process is started it cannot be stopped.
Ø
Formatting the DVD disk will erase any and all data
contained on that disk drive.
Ø
Format process usually takes 20 – 90 min. to complete.
Ø
Do not turn power OFF while formatting.
Ø
If power fails while formatting, format must be restarted after
power is ON.
Ø
If you are formatting disk to correct previous operational
problem, and problem still exists after formatting, change to
a new disk.
Reformatting an old disk can sometimes improve access time
and picture quality. However, multiple reformatting can cause
the quality of recorded images to decrease. If you need to
maintain image quality, replace DVD disk with a new one when
quality diminishes.
