Color Options
Color Adjustments
This option displays the adjustments made to the color settings. Adjust the color by selecting the Color
Adjustments button. The Color Correction drop-down menu provides the following options:

Automatic uses the best color correction for each graphic element (text, artwork, and
photographs) in your print job.
•
Simulate LCD Display matches the print output color to the computer monitor's colors.
•
Simulate RGB Display matches the print output color to the RGB (red, green, blue) setup.
Vivid Color produces brighter and more saturated colors.

Black and White converts the colors to grayscale. Use when you want to produce a black and
white version of a color document.
Use Printer Control Panel Setting uses the color correction set in the printer. The color correction
•
can be set for the printer using the device touch screen or Internet Services.
•
None removes color corrections.
•
Custom allows you to select the tabs to customize the host's color selections.
•
After selecting an option from the Color Correction menu the following settings can be adjusted:
•
Lightness move the slider to the right to lighten or
to the left to darken the colors in your print job.
•
Contrast move the slider to the left to decrease or to
the right to increase the contrast. With increased
contrast, saturated colors become more saturated,
darker colors become more black, and lighter colors
become more white.
•
Saturation move the slider to the left to decrease or
to the right to increase the color intensity without
changing the darkness.
•
Color Cast move the Cyan/Red, Magenta/Green,
and Yellow/Blue slider to change the gamma
function between a color and its complement. For example, when you increase the cyan on
the first slider, the red decreases, and vice versa.
Print Settings on the Page
Prints the filename, print-quality mode, and color settings of the print job on the edge of the page.
