Software License Activation

Licensing

The licensing has two components — a system key which is a physical
device shipped with every copy of OE 4.6. This hardware key is equipped
with a DB-25 connector that is designed to be connected to the parallel
printer port on the AltiServ system running OE 4.6 or later releases of
AltiWare. Optionally, a USB port version of the system key is available for
use on systems ONLY equipped with a USB port. The USB system key is
a special order item.
The second component is the license key. The following table lists all
licenses used in Release 4.6.
