File Transfer

IXF Parameters

The IXF (Information eXchange Facility) protocol is supported when TeemTalk is
running the Tandem 6530 terminal emulation. Clicking the IXF... button in the
Initiate File Transfer dialog box will cause the Information eXchange Facility
Options dialog box to be displayed, as shown above. This enables you to set
parameters specific to the IXF protocol.
Binary
Factory default: No
When selected, this option will cause the file to be sent as binary data. The file will
not be modified during the transfer. Do not select this option if you want to transfer
text files between systems.
Extensions
Factory default: No
When set to No, the host will remove PC file name extensions before creating the
host file name.
Host Exec
Factory default: No
Not implemented in this version.
