Ethernet Type Specifies that the access profile will apply only to packets with this hexadecimal 802.1Q Ethernet
type value (hex 0x0-0xffff) in the packet header. The Ethernet type value may be set in the form:
hex 0x0-0xffff, which means the user may choose a combination of letters and numbers ranging
from a-f and from 0-9.
Port Enter the port or range of ports.
Time Range Click the check box and enter the name of the Time Range settings that has been previously
configured in the Time Range Settings window. This will set specific times when this access rule
will be implemented on the Switch.
Click Apply to implement the changes.
To view the settings of a previously correctly configured rule, click View in the CPU Interface Filtering Rule Table window to
view the following window:

The following window is the CPU Interface Filtering Rule Table for IP.
To create a new rule set for an access profile click the Add Rule button. A new window is displayed. To remove a previously
