2. If you need to parallel multiple units of external battery cabinets, please
contact Delta service personnel for relevant information.
3. To extend the backup time, you can parallel up to four units of external
battery cabinets to the UPS. Please note that (1) the number of batteries
in each paralleled external battery cabinet shall be the same and that (2)
the cable length of each battery string shall be the same.
• When choosing the external battery cabinet's protective device, please take the
following factors into consideration: (1) overcurrent between the UPS and battery
circuit, (2) short circuit current of the batteries, (3) wire/ cable materials, and (4)
local electrical regulations. If you have any questions about the external battery
cabinet's protective device, please contact Delta service personnel.
• The protective device is optional, and its type must be fast-acting DC circuit
breaker and/ or fast-acting DC fuse. If you want to buy any of them, please contact
Delta service personnel. When choosing the protective device, follow the
instructions below.
(1) The protective device's rated current must comply with the current values
