Possible Cause
Device cannot communicate
with battery.
The set dose has been set to
zero and the INOMAX cylinder
valve is still open.
Device does not recognize an
INOMAX cylinder, the dose
knob will be greyed out and it
will not allow the user to set
an initial INOMAX dose.
IR cable is not connected
to the back of the
INOmax DS
Plus MRI.

Integrated pneumatic backup
switch is ON.
Recommended Action
Contact Technical Support.
Close the INOMAX cylinder valve and
depressurize regulator.
1. Load INOMAX cylinder on to the cart.
2. Remove any obstruction
between the INOmeter and the
INOmax DS
Plus MRI cart cover.

3. Move the interfering light source.
4. Move the INOmax DS

reduce the high intensity light in the area of
the INOmeter.
5. Shield the INOmeter from the suspect light
source.
6. Replace cylinder
Verify the IR cable is connected to the back of
the INOmax DS
Plus MRI.

1. Correct the reason for initiating integrated
pneumatic backup delivery.
2. Turn integrated pneumatic backup delivery
OFF and confirm set NO dose has been
restored.
