Possible Cause
The Low NO alarm setting
may be inappropriately set.
Circuit setup incorrect. The
patient gas sample line or
NO/N injector tube may be

disconnected.
Loss of NO delivery.
NO sensor may require
calibration.
MR injector module may not
be functioning properly.
NO sensor may require
calibration.
The NO sensor may not be
properly seated.
Recommended Action
Confirm Low NO alarm limit is set appropriately.
1. Check circuit for correct setup.
2. Confirm water bottle, water separator
cartridge, NO/N injector tube and patient gas
2
sample line are in place.
If loss of NO delivery is suspected, manually
ventilate patient with the INOblender
or
turn integrated pneumatic backup delivery ON
Perform low calibration
1. Manually ventilate patient with the INOblender
or
turn integrated pneumatic backup delivery ON
2. Replace the MR injector module (INOMAX
delivery will be interrupted).
3. Replace the MR injector module cable
(INOMAX delivery will be interrupted).
Perform a high NO calibration outside of the MR
scanner room.
1. Outside of the MR scanner room confirm the
O-ring on the sensor is correctly seated and
the sensor cover is fully closed.
