Fuses with Contact Knives
We recommend two types of fuses with contact knives: fuses with slotted knives according to DIN 43653 and fuses with solid knives
according to DIN 43620. The former are mounted direct on busbars or in special fuse holders and the latter in spring-loaded fuse
bases.
Use the biggest possible bolts/studs, nuts, and washers (recommended) to tighten the DIN 43653 fuses to a torque of 50 Nm.
Tighten the DIN 43653 fuses in accordance with the specification provided with the base.

6.7.1 Additional Instructions for Cable Installation

Before starting, make sure that none of the components of the AC drive is live. Read carefully the warnings in Safety section.
Make sure the connection of the AC choke and the optional 230 V auxiliary voltage transformer are suitable for the supply volt-
age in use (see
6.4 AC Choke
Make sure that the motor cables are sufficiently far from other cables.
The motor cables must go across other cables at an angle of 90°.
If it is possible, do not put the motor cables in long parallel lines with other cables.
If the motor cables are in parallel with other cables, obey the minimum distances (see
The distances are also valid between the motor cables and the signal cables of other systems.
The maximum length of the motor cables is 300 m. If output dU/dt filters (+ODU option) are used, see the limitations for cable
lengths in
