Troubleshooting
•
Check the load.
•
Check the motor frame size.
•
Make an identification run.
•
Check brake resistor resistance.
12.12.97 Fault 42 - Brake resistor overtemperature, Subcode S1 - Internal brake chopper overtem-
perature
Cause
Brake resistor overtemperature protection has detected too heavy braking.
Troubleshooting
•
Reset unit.
•
Set the deceleration time longer.
•
Dimensioning of the brake chopper is not correct.
•
Use external brake resistor.
12.12.98 Fault 42 - Brake resistor overtemperature, Subcode S2 - Brake resistance too high (BCU)
Cause
Brake resistor overtemperature protection has detected too heavy braking.
Troubleshooting
•
Reset unit.
•
Set the deceleration time longer.
•
Dimensioning of the brake chopper is not correct.
•
Use external brake resistor.
