5.2.3 Heat Dissipation

The efficiency of the AC drive is a function of switching frequency, operating frequency, and load (see VACON NXC Enclosed Drive
Operating Guide). Based on this information, heat dissipation can be calculated at a certain operating point. For most cases the
following general formula based on AC drive load can be used to estimate the heat dissipation of the power unit:
