1. Check the SCV Current
1. Place the key switch in the ON position, and check the "Target
SCV current" and "Actual SCV current" on the diagnosis tool
data monitor.
1. The "Actual SCV current value" always follow to the
"Target SCV current value".
When idling: Approx. 1800 mA
Accelerator opening: 0→100 %
(During acceleration): Approx. 1400 mA minimum
During no-load maximum speed: Approx.1600 mA
The numerical value is stable under normal
operating and the target value corresponds with
actual pressure value.
* The current shall be used as a reference only as
this value varies depending on the pump used.
Service
2. The "Pump difference learning correction value" must be
specification
within ±200 mA.
NOTE
As the following value of A varies depending on
pump, the table above is for guideline. If the value of
A has a wider shift than the initial learning value,
there may be out of the range of the above table.
A net normal value is the value that provided by the
forced-learning several times.: Compared with A
12 V spec.: A-100 ≤ normal value ≤ A+50
Therefore, if the value is out of the range above,
perform the forced-learning.
OK
Clear the DTC and check whether it is output again or not.
OK
Normal.

Go to "2. Measure the Resistance Between Terminals".
(a) CAN1 Connector
2. Measure the Resistance Between Terminals
1. Place the key switch in the OFF position, unplug the engine
ECU wiring harness connector from the socket, and measure
the resistance between terminals E09 / E29 and E10 / E30 of
the connector.
