8. HMI for NCD (Human Machine Interface for NOx Control Diagnosis)
• A function that can check the current stage of output restriction divided into several stages.
• NCD is the system to monitor tampering of NOx control device (such as EGR, SCR) and limit output power.
• This is the mandatory of Stage V regulation.
• When NCD is detected, the output restriction is applied as the driving time elapses to notify the operator.
• Output restriction is applied for a certain period of time even after clearing NCD (The time of output restriction
after repair is proportional to the time from start of NCD to clearing. This time can be confirmed with DiagMaster.)
• Output restriction by NCD
a) 3 hours 20 minutes after NCD detection: Output restriction Level 1
b) 4 hours + 5 minutes after NCD detection: Output restriction Level 2
• HMI for NCD Screen
(1) Inducement Reason (NCD
Tampering): It lights when
U0076 or P0102 are set
(2) Time Left to Reduction Level:
Stage at gradually decreasing
output to Reduction Level 1 or
Level 2 (a few minutes)
(3) Inducement Severity:
Output restriction state
1-S24
(4) Repeat Occurrences: When
NCD reoccurs within 40 hours
after returning from NCD, it
becomes Active and returns to
the previous reduction state
COMMON RAIL SYSTEM
(5) Time Left on Repeat
Occurrences: Extended time
of output restriction after fixing
NCD (remaining time)
