Network Settings
If "WiFi" is checked, the WiFi connection is active and the WiFi icon will appear in the status bar.
If both "WiFi" and "DHCP" are checked, the S7200 will connect to the WiFi network automatically.
If "WiFi", but not "DHCP", is checked, you can setup a static IP address as well as all other network
configuration requirements such as MASK, Gateway and DNS.
Using Ethernet
In Network Settings, the default connection is through the Ethernet port on the connector panel. Uncheck
the Wifi box and plug in an Ethernet cable from an active network to the S7200. Set up the static IP
information to connect.
(If DHCP is checked, the unit will auto-set a network address and configuration.)
Wifi Hotspot
The S7200 offers a WiFi hotspot function, which can be used
to support software that connects to a mobile phone or
tablet computer. Engineers can use this tool to connect the
S7200 to a public network in the field. When active, the WiFi
icon will appear blue instead of orange (see right, bottom).
If no good network signal is present, the engineer can use
this function to complete the measurement task and upload
measurement results remotely. Currently, only Android
functionality is supported; other mobile device types are
planned for future releases. Contact your Deviser
Instruments representative for more info.
Hotspot settings include:

This page contains settings for allowing the S7200 to
interact with other networked devices via Ethernet LAN
cable or Wi-Fi. This includes the Local IP, Net Mask,
Gateway, and DNS addresses and the DHCP option. Tap
DHCP to activate it, or deactivate to keep a static IP.
To change an address, tap the field to highlight one of
its bytes and enter up to 3 digits using the keypad. Press
the left/right arrow keys to continue as needed until the
address is complete.
