DVB-S/S2 Measurement
In order to measure satellite signals. tap the SAT key from the
home menu to switch to satellite mode. Here, press the
button and connect an RF cable from the satellite antenna
to the instrument's RF input port. In the dialog that appears,
choose the appropriate LNB power supply option & receiver
for your satellite signal. (See right; for more information on this
menu, see Section 13-4.)
Depending on the selected satellite channel plan, you can
launch the Measure mode to view measurement results for a
transponder on the current satellite.
The S7200 supports DVB-S (below, left) and DVB-S2 (below, right) signal demodulation. For DVB-S2, only
QPSK and 8PSK demodulation are supported.

Settings
TP:
Transponder name. Use the up/down arrow keys to switch transponders.
SAT-IF:
Satellite IF, LNB output frequency. Range: 950 - 2150MHz.
Satellite freq:
DL-Ku band (10.75 - 12.75GHz), DL-C band (3.4 - 4.2GHz)
BW and SR:
Bandwidth and Symbol Rate (1 - 45MS/s). BW=(1+α)SR, where α represents roll-off factor.
You can find the roll-off factor value, modulation type, and code rate in the transponder
setup screen.
Tap CONS to launch the constellation display.
