Part IV: System Functions
You can directly edit .DAT-format antenna files from your PC. Simply copy the antenna file
to USB, insert the USB device into your PC, and open the file using a PC-based text editor
such as Notepad. Then modify the antenna attributes, as shown (right).
The contents of the .DAT file are split into 2-value pairs, marked by a comma (e.g. "80000,0"
in the example shown).
 The first value is frequency (measured in kHz). The frequency range should be
consistent with frequency range that the used antenna supports.
 The second value is the antenna coefficient (measured in 1dB, where 1 = 10% of
1dB). The coefficient range is ±500, equal to ±50dB.
Save the modified .DAT file to the same directory that the S7200 created, then return the
USB device to the S7200. If a readable antenna file is detected, Import will be available.

The S7200 receives periodic updates to improve device function. To check if your device currently has the
latest firmware, please contact Deviser Instruments.
To install a firmware update, follow these instructions. You will need a standard USB storage/flash drive.
Ensure that the drive is empty, and formatted in FAT or FAT32.
1. Locate update files "initrd.bin" and "PKGM01R1.00 [...]
.bin". (Filename will contain a time/date stamp.) Connect
the USB drive to your PC, and transfer these files to the root
(top-level) directory of the drive. Safety eject the drive.
NOTE: Do not alter the names of update files. They must remain
exactly as issued by the Deviser team, or the update will fail.
2. With the S7200 turned OFF, insert the drive into the USB port.

5. The process will take several minutes. After updating, the unit will reboot automatically.
