Ping
The PING tool is a practical way to verify your network
connectivity status and speed.
In the URL field at the top, input the network or IP address to be
tested (e.g., www.bing.com or 192.168.1.1). Then tap START to
begin the network test. Tap STOP to interrupt the test. Test results
in the lower panel.
Test Results
"-n":
Packet Count, the number of data packets sent by the assigned PING order.
"-t":
"Unlimited". If this box is checked, the PING function will be continuous until the test is interrupted
by pressing the stop button.
"-l":
"Packet length", the packet length of the PING request.
"-I":
"Interval", time interval between ping packets, in milliseconds (ms).

Display & Battery
This page contains power-saving settings to extend battery life on a charge. It also displays the current
internal temperature of the instrument in degrees centigrade/Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Auto Power Off
If the device remains on for a certain amount of time (3, 5, 10, or 30min) without input, it will automatically
shut down to preserve power. Tap this setting and select a time period from the dropdown box, or use the
arrow and Enter keys. Set to DISABLE to disable automatic shutdown; the device will continue running until
the battery is depleted.
Backlight Off
If the device remains on for a certain amount of time (3, 5, 10, or 30min) without input, it will automatically
dim the backlit screen to preserve power. . Tap this setting and select a time period from the dropdown box,
or use the arrow and Enter keys. Set to DISABLE to disable auto-dim; the backlight will stay at max brightness
until the battery is depleted.

Date & Time
This page allows you to set the instrument's internal clock. Tap each entry field and use the dropdown box or
touchscreen numpad to set the current year, month, day, hour, minute, and second.
The topmost field allows you to change the date display format:
Y/M/D (ex.: 2016 Mar 31)
D/M/Y (ex. 31 Mar 2016)
or M/D/Y (ex. Mar 31 2016)

Language
On this page, you can set the system language. Once set, all system text, instructions, and data will appear in
the selected language. English, Russian, and Chinese (simplified) are currently supported.
