External Interface Setup

You can access an additional settings menu by pressing the
the S7200's front panel. This menu contains settings for various measurements and options, and its contents
differ between TV and satellite mode. This menu contains the following tabs:
In TV mode: LNB Power, Optical/RF, and TS Input/ASI Output.
In SAT mode: LNB Power, DiSEqC, SaTCR, Optical/RF, and TS Input/ASI Output.
13-4.1
LNB Power Setup
In TV Mode
Sets the voltage used to power the LNB or preamplifier. Settings include Ext. Power Supply, 5V, 3V, 15V, 24V.
In SAT Mode
Sets the voltage used to power the LNB or preamplifier, as well as control different types of switches in LNB.
Settings include Ext power supply, Auto, 13V, 18V, 13V+22kHz, 18V+22kHz, 24V. When receiving signal from
multiple satellites or by multiple users, you must select 13/18V, 0/22kHz, and set up the appropriate DiSEqC
configuration. (See subsection 13-4.2 ahead.)
TV Mode Power Settings
When setting LNB control switch options, the 18V setting is used to control horizontal polarization and 13V is
used to control vertical polarization. A 0/22kHz signal is used to control high-band and low-band Ku switches.
A 22kHz square-wave signal with 1V peak-to-peak value is superimposed on 13V or 18V.
To receive C band horizontal polarization signals, select 18V.
To receive C band vertical polarization signals, select 13V.
For Ku high-band polarization signals, the 22kHz square-wave signal must be superimposed on the signal.
Select 18V+22K for horizontal, or 13V+22K for vertical.
For Ku low-band polarization signals, the 22kHz square-wave signal must not be superimposed on the signal.
Select 18V for horizontal, or 13V for vertical.
