7. Close the cable clamps.
8. (Optional) If your CMA has cable straps, fasten the straps.
9. Verify the operation of the server rails:
Two people might be needed for this procedure: one to slide the chassis in and out of the server, and the other to observe the rear panel
cables and power cords.
a. Fully extend the chassis out of the server.
b. Check that there is enough slack in the cables and cords for full extension of the chassis. Make sure that there is no cable binding or
crimping.
c. To ensure that the cables and cords are secured properly, slide the chassis in and out of the server. Make sure that there is no risk of
accidental disconnection of the peripheral cables and power cords.
