CAUTION: Employ industry best practices in managing peripheral cables and power cords secured in the CMA. These

Leave enough cable slack between the rear panel and the CMA to allow the full extension of the CMA when the
server is extended out of the server.
However, there should be no excess cable slack inside the CMA; this might cause cable binding and could lead to
cable damage.
Make sure that the cables and power cords do not extend above the top or below the bottom of the server to which
they are attached. Otherwise, the cables might snag on other equipment installed in the server when the server is
extended from or returned to the server.
Route the peripheral cables and power cords through the cable clamps and/or straps.
