Press the tip of a flat screwdriver into the terminal release slot, and push the
screwdriver to the right to open the cage clamp.

While holding the cage clamp open with the screwdriver, insert the red lead into
the topmost power terminal until only the insulation shows.
4.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3, with the white lead inserted into the middle terminal and
the black lead inserted into the lower terminal.
