Important Note about Cabling and Bypass Mode When your Oracle Talari Appliance is operating in bypass mode (e.g., when it is powered off), the appliance acts like a crossover cable. This may cause a loss of the link between the appliance and older network devices that do not support Auto MDI-X when straight-through cables are used to connect the LAN and WAN ports of the appliance.
