40 Acme Packet 4500 Hardware Installation Guide
To install the stationary rails on the front of a tapped hole equipment rack:
1.
Locate the following components:
2 x stationary rail sections
•
4 x 10-32 x 5/8" screws
•
2 x mounting spacers
•
2.
Line up the painted side of the stationary rail with an appropriate mount point
on the front of the equipment rack.
3.
Place 2 x 10-32 screws through the mounting spacer and through the stationary
rail ear.
4.
Screw in and secure the stationary rail to the equipment rack. Refer to the
following exploded view of procedure:
Do not completely torque the screws; leave a small amount of play at this point.
