Running Samples
Figure 40. NovoExpress Software Interface
Click the Next Sample button on Cytometer Control panel, or right-click the file
name TBNK.ncf on Experiment Manager panel and select New Sample from the
drop-down menu, to create a new sample to start the experiment. After that, one
specimen with the default name Specimen 1 contains one sample with the default
name Sample 1 will be created. In this example, two samples prepared and
stained by two reagent kits need to be created. Repeat creating a new sample to
add Sample 2 to the same specimen. Rename specimen and sample name by
click the name twice or select Rename on the right-click drop-down menu. In this
example, rename Specimen 1 as TBNK, rename Sample 1 to T-Lym and Sample 2
to NKB.
A hierarchic tree structure is used in the Experiment Manager for effective
NOTE
organization of the experimental data. You can use Group, Specimen, and Sample
to organize your experiments and name them in a systematic way to improve the
efficiency and traceability of experimental results. For more information, please
refer to the
NovoExpress Software
Guide.
After the above operation, the Experiment Manager will appear as shown in Figure
41.
