Gas pre--
flow
In 4--stroke welding. any gas pre--flow starts when the trigger is held in (1). When the
gas pre--flow time has been completed, the current goes up to pilot level (a couple of
ampere) and the arc is ignited.
When the trigger is then released (2), the current goes up to the pre--set value (with
any ramp--up).
When the trigger is again pressed in (3) the current goes back down to pilot level
(with any ramp--down).
When the trigger is released again (4), the arc is extinguished and any gas post--flow
starts.
Use one of the soft keys in the settings menu to switch between 2--stroke and
4--stroke.
