9.2.9 Multiple wire feed units
All new wire feed units are delivered with the identification number 0.
Begin by changing the ID number (node address) for one of the wire feed units (this
applies to multiple wire feed units only).
Place the cursor on the
row for multiple feed
units and press ENTER
The ID number is changed as follows:
First connect a new wire feed unit, then go to the view MULTIPLE WIRE FEED UNIT.
and press and release the torch button to activate the wire feed unit. Read the ID
number of the wire feed unit on the uppermost line (it should be 0 the first time). Now
choose a new ID number between 0 and 3.
Place the cursor on the
row CHOOSE A NEW
ID NUMBER. Select a
number between 0--3
by stepping with the
plus/minus buttons.
Press ENTER.
