Lost contact with the current source
An identification message is used to continuously check that a certain unit
remains on the network. "Time out" in the response causes this message.
The stop command is immediately sent to the wire feed unit.
Error in the battery backed up RAM
A "change" in the battery--supplied RAM memory is used for sample tests.
If the battery loses power. the value will not be correct when the test is car-
ried out during the next initiation. whereby a general resetting of the weld
data memory occurs.
The result of this resetting is that all weld data positions are set to zero.
current setting becomes: MIG/MAG. DIP/SPRAY. Fe. CO2. 1.2 mm.
Unacceptable settings stored in RAM
An unacceptable value has been detected among the non--numeric setting
parameters. The error detection results in the resetting of the weld data
memory. The test is only carried out during initiation after power--on. No
functions are blocked due to this error.
Incompatible settings stored in RAM
Set values for method. material. gas and wire form a combination that is
not permitted. Error detection results in the resetting of the weld data me-
mory. No functions are blocked by this error.
Spill in transmission buffer Transmitting buffer memory has been over--
filled. The error is caused when the microprocessor in the controller loads
abnormal memory by accepting more messages than it can handle. Po-
wer--off is required for resetting.
Spill in receiver buffer
Receiving buffer memory has been over--filled. The error is caused when
the microprocessor in the controller abnormally loads memory by accep-
ting more messages than it can handle. Power--off is required for resetting.
Incompatible weld data format
When the controller is loaded with weld data (not individual weld data. but
transfer of blocks of weld data). it accepts a version number for the weld
data format. If this version number is not in agreement with the controller's
version of the weld data format. this error indication comes.
"Watchdog" caused resetting
The processor's internal "watchdog" has a set indication. i.e. something
has hindered the processor from carrying out its normal tasks in the pro-
gram's main loop within the given time limits (64 ms). When this occurs the
processor is reset and is then re--started. When the program carries out its
initiations it is detected that the reason of the restart comes from "watch-
dog." from which this error message is sent. No functions are blocked by
this error.
Weld wire end The weld wire has ended on the wire feed unit.
Spill in the stack
The stack (the area in the memory which the processor uses to temporari-
ly store data) has been overfilled. The error can be caused by abnormal
workload on the processor.
No water flow
The water flow meter has given an indication that there is no water flow.
Lost contact with the TIG I/O unit
An identification message is used to continuously check that a certain unit
remains on the network. "Time out" in the answer causes this message.
Stop command is immediately sent to the current source.
No answer from the display card
The processor does not receive any response from the display card (nor-
mally the display card responds to all commands given by the process).
No functions are blocked by this error. except the display itself which can
stop functioning.
No gas flow The gas flow meter has given an indication that there is no
gas flow.
