Exporting Data
The Export option on the File menu allows you to copy the data in the sample information file
and reformat it in ASCII text.
The output file consists of data from the corrected data, blank analysis, and sample analysis.
• Corrected data has four columns: Corrected Height, Corrected Applied Pressure,
Corrected Transmitted Pressure, and Corrected Void Volume.
• Data for the blank analysis and the sample analysis are generated in eight columns:
Elapsed Time, Height, Applied Force, Transmitted Force, Applied Pressure, Transmitted
Pressure, Chamber Temperature, and Ambient Temperature.
1. Select File > Export; the Export Sample File dialog is displayed.
2. From the Files list window, select the file(s) you wish to export. To choose multiple files,
hold down
3. Choose an output destination.
• File: enter a name in the File name field, or accept the default name. If you have selected
multiple files, each file is exported as its file name with the appropriate File Type
extension.
• Printer: enables the Copies field allowing you to print up to four copies to a printer.
• Screen: prints to the computer screen.
4. From the File Type list, choose whether you wish to export the data as a text file, or in a
spreadsheet format.
5. Click
to export the file(s) to the specified destination.
