Sample Compartment

The sample compartment contains the sample chamber and the piston, and is enclosed with a
safety shield.

This shield slides up to open and down to close. This shield must
be in a fully closed position before the analyzer will operate.
Drives the sample down through the chamber for analysis
The chamber into which the sample is placed for analysis
