ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The following chart is provided to help in diagnosing the probable source of troubles. It should be used
as a guideline. Some causes or corrections may not apply to a specific model.
SYMPTOM STARTER DOES NOT TURN.
CONDITION NORMAL USE.
Test/Inspection

1. Check 30 A fuse located near battery.
a. Burnt fuse.
Check wiring condition and replace 30 A fuse.
2. Check continuity of starter switch contact points.
a. Poor contact of starter switch contact points.
Repair or replace switch.
3. Check continuity between starter switch and starter relay.
a. Open circuit between starter switch and starter relay.
Repair.
