Set the Enable parameter to Yes.
3. Set Direction to Both.
4. Enter 80 into the Services parameter. This parameter enables you to select the services you wish to
use to connect to the Central Office (CO). The value of 80 assigns Dialup Service to all DS0 channels.
5. Set the Connect Type to Dialup.
Entering Primary Dial Numbers

Configuration->Connect->RVP_Direct->Primary Dial Nums
1. Press the arrow keys to access the Primary Dial Num 1 parameter. Enter the phone number associ-
ated with the T1/PRI circuit connected to the PBXgateway II.
2. Press the ← key to accept changes and go back to the Configuration Menu.
3. Press the ↓ key to the Save parameter.
4. Press Enter to save changes to the active config (.rem) file.The EXTender 7000 is now ready to connect
to a PBXgateway II and extend up to 24 digital telephones.
Note: This configuration does not support Local Dialing. To expand this configuration to support Local
Dialing, see "Local Dialing Configurations on page' 66 for detailed instructions.
Set the T1/PRI Service Parameters
After you have set the RVP_Direct parameters, continue with the steps below. Access the T1/PRI Service
parameters to specify the Dialback number.
1. Access the DN menu (for the first 4 possible numbers) using the following path:

2. Enter a single DN number in the DN 1 parameter. This is the DID number of the EXTender 7000. This
value is provided by the Telco company (CO).
