12.2.88 Fault Code 20 - Safety System, S243 - Drive Conf., Fault Number 80
Cause
•
Communication with VACON
Troubleshooting
•
Check the cabling.
12.2.89 Fault Code 8 - System Fault, S83 - Board Not Present
Cause
The safe fieldbus communication is activated in the fieldbus board but the Advanced safety option board is missing.
Troubleshooting
Remove the safe fieldbus module from the fieldbus board communication in the PLC, or install the Advanced safety option board.
12.2.90 Fault Code 8 - System Fault, S84 - Incompatible Gateway
Cause
The safe fieldbus communication is enabled in the Advanced safety option board but the used standard fieldbus board does not
support it.
Troubleshooting
•
Check the configuration of the option board.
•
Check the firmware of the fieldbus board.
•
Check that the correct type of fieldbus option board is used.
12.2.91 Fault Code 8 - System Fault, S85 - Startup Failed
Cause
•
The Advanced safety option board is detected but does not communicate with the control board.
•
The Advanced safety option board is broken.
Troubleshooting
•
Reboot the AC drive.
•
Update the option board firmware.
•
If the fault reoccurs, contact the local distributor.
12.2.92 Fault Code 46 - Safety Request, S1 - STO
Cause
•
This warning is an indication that a safety function is active on the AC drive.
Troubleshooting
•
If the parameter Acknowledgment Mode (Startup) is set to manual, the STO function is indicated as requested after startup until
an acknowledgment is received.
•
As a default, faults with the code 46 or 47 are not saved into the fault history of the AC drive. The drive application can change
the logging mode so that these faults are saved in the fault history. The Activity log can be used to see the activation and deacti-
vation history of the safety functions.
12.2.93 Fault Code 46 - Safety Request, S2 - SS1
Cause
•
This warning is an indication that a safety function is active on the AC drive.
Troubleshooting
•
