Effect
If the application manager is not running, APS is in production, but the
applications and scripts themselves have not started. There will be no
production.
Description
The application manager process is not currently running.
Resolution
1. The application manager may have intentionally been turned off.
If not, make sure that the application manager is "STARTED"
through the APS interface. See
''Checking the Application Manager's Runtime Status'' on
page 158
or
''Starting and Stopping the Application Manager'' on page
156.
2. Start the applications themselves by hand.
3. If these steps fail, reboot the APS system.
4. If the previous steps don't solve the problem, escalate this
problem to the next level of support.
