Shutting Down the ERP Sun System

Shutting Down the X.25 Links

Use this procedure to gracefully shut down the ERP Sun system.
1. Login as root and enter
cd /
shutdown -y -i0 -g0
2. On a SunOS command line enter
ps -ef | grep srunnertest | grep -v grep | wc -l
The number that returns is the one that should be in the
configuration file.
3. At the OK prompt, power off the system with the button on the
back panel.
4. See ''Starting the ERP Sun System'' on page 177 to bring the
ERP system up.
At times you may want to shut down X.25 links only. To gracefully shut
down the X.25 links:
1. Open an xterm window.
2. Log in as super user. Enter su
and enter the correct password.
3. Enter x25tool&
4. From the Network menu, select Stop X.25
or
Stop the X.25 connection in the Links Configuration window by
clicking Stop.
5. Wait for the message in the console window to confirm that the
links are down.
