Stop X25
12. In the bottom of the window you will see the message:
"The network has been stopped."
Expect this to take half a minute or so.
13. To restart all X.25 links from the APS:
a. Open the X.25 tool.
b. Choose
Network
Start X25
In the bottom of the window you will see the message:
"The network has been brought up."
Expect this to take half a minute or so.
If the previous steps do not work, stop and restart the link from the
Sierra/CA side using the instructions in the next step. Note that resetting
the X.25 link from the Sierra/CA side may cause data loss from other
incoming links.
From the Sierra/CA, use Main Menu item 18 to check the administration
of the X.25 interface.
1. Log in as usual with the correct password.
2. At the Sierra/CA Main Menu, enter 18 to select item
18 - X.25 Interface Management.
Menu 18 displays.
3. Enter a 2 to select 2 - X.25 Interface Status.
4. Make a note of the link number you are checking. The status of
the link should be UP.
5. Press ENTER to return to the previous menu, menu 18.
6. From menu 18, select 3 - Interface Options.
