Module types designate the software module, such as Interpreter or
Database, that generated the error. Software modules and their module
number are listed in Table 17 below.

Informational entry. This is a
non-service-affecting condition.
This type of error has one or more
of the following characteristics:

Included history messages,
such as state changes

Can be non-error messages
that require no action
POINT OF INTEREST. This an
error condition that indicates a
service-affecting error has
occurred. This type of error has
one or more of the following
characteristics:
n
All applications are prevented
from operation properly
n
Immediate action is required
n
There is permanent visible
impact to production
n
A large number of customers
are affected.
