Starting the ERP Sun System

Rebooting the Sun System

This procedure starts the ERP Sun system from a power off state.
1. Press the power button on the back of the Sun system.
In about one minute, the screen displays the Sun login banner.
Sun boot messages display.
The Sun Welcome screen displays.
2. Log in as root with the correct password.
The Sun Desktop displays.
3. In a terminal window, open the APS main menu. Enter
su - issg
The ERP system is up and ready to receive data.
There are several ways to reboot the Sun system. The reboot procedures
here apply to both the ERP and the APS Sun systems. Choose one that
applies to the situation.
