Selecting Enable Auto Restart allows a script to restart automatically if
the script terminates inappropriately. Disabling Auto Restart means that
the script must be restarted manually.
The Type 40 mailbox number is administered on the Sierra/CA, and
reflected here. To fill in this field you must know what the value is on the
Sierra/CA. You may also refer to the Sierra Administration Guide for how
to determine this number.
After choosing the type of server or protocol for the script, choose a script
type. Script type identifies the type of script being developed or executed.
Table 5 describes the script types that are available:

Type Description
System Scripts with no voice processing system interaction.
System scripts do not require a virtual circuit and
voice processor. A script of the type System may
have one and only one profile associated with it.
Incoming Scripts that set up a virtual circuit with a voice
processing system to accept an incoming call. These
scripts execute when an incoming call is forwarded
to the application. A script of type Incoming may
have one profile for every VPM at the site.
Outcall Scripts that set up a virtual circuit with a voice
processing system to place an outgoing call. Outcall
scripts seize a port on the voice system, then place an
outcall. For an outgoing call, specify the Type 40
mailbox. (Refer to the OCL Programmers Guide by
Octel, P/N 101-1069-001 for a description of type 40
mail boxes.) A script of type Outgoing may have one
profile for every VPM at the site
Administrative Scripts that require a virtual circuit with a voice
processing system for system administration
activities. These include mailbox-provisioning
applications like addition and deletion of mailboxes
on the voice system. A script of the type
Administrative may have one and only one profile
associated with it.
