Effect
Service will be affected.
Description
This error indicates that the APS software was unable to open a virtual
circuit because it received an improper control packet from the X.25
driver. This problem could be a result of the X.25 link or network being
brought down or X.25 driver may not be installed properly.
ERRNO is the system error number. X25STREAM is the X.25 stream
information used by engineering to debug the problem. X25ADDR is the
address of the X.25 system that is causing the problem.
Resolution
1. Make sure the OCL network is up.
2. Make sure that the OCL version on the APS and the Sierra are the
same.
3. Check the network configuration parameters, especially those
that may have changed.
4. Make sure that the addresses of the APS workstation and the
Sierra are the same on both sides.
5. If the above steps do not solve the problem, escalate this alarm to
the next level of support.
