Installation
Installing the SpectrAA Base Software
This procedure is for SpectrAA version 5.2 or greater and Microsoft Windows 7
NOTE
Professional 64-bit SP1 operating systems only.

10 From the 'SpectrAA Instrument Configuration' window, select

Close down all Microsoft Windows applications.
Insert the SpectrAA Base CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The
installation program should start automatically. If the program
does not auto start, do the following:
a
From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs >
Accessories > Run. The Run dialog displays.
b
In the Run dialog, type X:\SpectrAABase.exe (where X
represents the letter of your CD-ROM drive) and select OK to
start the installation.
c
Click Yes on the User Account Control window to run the
program.
Select the language from the drop-down menu to use during the
installation of the SpectrAA software. Click OK.
Select Next to start the installation.
Review the License Agreement and then select I accept the
agreement and then click Next or 'Cancel' if you do not accept
the agreement. Clicking 'Cancel' will stop the software
installation.
Follow the prompts, selecting Yes, Next or OK on each page.
The SpectrAA User Information window will be displayed.
Check that the selections are correct, or reenter them, and then
click Next.
Follow the prompts, selecting Yes, Next or OK on each page.
Click Install.
your instrument type from the drop down list on the
'Instrument #1' page. Then do the following:
If you are running a one instrument system:
Continue with Step 11.
