There are 256 flow code numbers ranging 0-255. Each code number refers to a
specific action taken by the flow controller.
Odd flow code numbers from 1-127 cause the wheels to pull material forward.
As the code number approaches 127, the flow increases. Odd numbers from
139-255 refer to rollback, and even numbers from 0-254 refer to the gain in
RPMs/in/sec. Odd numbers from 129-137 are reserved for special functions
and are to be used only by engineers at Stratasys.
Below are detailed explanations of each part of the code.
PD.08,41;
The FDM servo pump starts up before the FDM head begins to move. This
portion of the code specifies how much time the servo pump will run before
the FDM head moves and the amount of flow.
PD.08 (pause delay 0.08 of a second) specifies how long the pump will run
before the FDM head begins to move. It is one factor in controlling the road
width at the start.
41 is the "Pre-Flow" code number during the delay time. It is a code which
specifies an RPM rate for the wheels. The wheel RPMs increase in even
numbered increments with the flow code number.

This line of code sets the new toolpath width.
MM; clears all previous toolpath widths.
MM0 is a command which marks the beginning of the curve. This is a
distance in thousandths of an inch from the beginning of the curve.
53 corresponds to the flow rate during the MM0 to the MM006 move. This
is the "Start Flow." It tells the system that the flow code at the start and for
the first .006 of the toolpath is to be 53. This must be an odd integer.
MM006 is a default command from the post. This is a distance in thou-
sandths of an inch from the beginning of the toolpath. At this distance, the
new flow command number becomes 100.
