intake of the fuel mixture is occurring through the
ports between points "A" and "8". The chamber
volume between points "A" and "G" is at mini-
mum capacity. The chamber between points "8"
and "G" is just starting to form the exhaust
phase.

Exhaust (F ig. 11-4) - The rotor side between
points "8" and "G" is just completing the exhaust
phase; exhaust and intake ports are both open. A
new intake phase is also commensing.

The combination of four-stroke cycle operation, a
power impulse every revolution of the mainshaft
and high mainshaft RPM results in maximum"
power delivery. Properly serviced and adjusted,
the Wankel rotary engine will be smooth running
and virtually vibration free.
