ALIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
scale or calipers. Both dimensions must fall
between
1-1/4-inches
(1.25)
and
1-5/16-inches (1.3125). If dimensions fall
within
specified values, offset is correct;
proceed to step 10. I f dimensions do not fall
within specified values, proceed to step

Remove capscrew and washers holding
driven pulley on driven pulley shaft,
using a 1/2-inch socket, Fig. V-24.

Loosen socket head set screw holding
offset adjusting collar in place, using a
3/32-inch Allen wrench, Fig. V-25.

Move driven pulley and rotate offset
adjusting collar until dimensions
X
and
Y fall within 1-1/4-inches (1.25) and
1-5/16-inches
(1.3125).
When
dimensions fall within specified values,
lock offset adjusting collar against driven
pulley by tightening the socket head
capscrew,
using
a
3/32-inch
Allen
wrench. Install capscrew and washers
that hold driven pulley on driven shaft,
using a 1/2-inch socket. Proceed to step
10.
10.
Install the drive belt, clutch shield and brake
cable (see I nstall Drive Belt, Clutch Shield
and Brake Cable, page V-42).
